App Data Storage Policy

Use of information we collect through automated systems when you use our app

Device Storage

We use your mobile device's built-in storage to store small pieces of data, similar to how cookies work in a browser.

This information is generally stored indefinitely, to allow us to provide you the best possible experience. We do this to keep you authenticated to our servers, store data for easy retrieval later, and track the performance of the app.

Any authentication information which we use to log you in is stored securely on your device. How this happens is dependent on the type of device, but always includes a layer of encryption to protect it. We never store your medical information on your device.

Your device allows you to delete this data at any time. You can also delete authentication data by logging out of the app.

If you choose to delete this data or block its storage in any way, you will not be able to use the functionality of the app.

We use device storage in the following ways:

  • to track how you use our app
  • to record whether you have seen specific messages we display on our app
  • to keep you signed into our app
  • to record your answers to surveys and questionnaires on our app while you complete them
  • to store data for later to enhance the performance of the app

Personal identifiers from your activity

Requests by your phone to our servers for content and images in the app are recorded.

We record information such as your Internet service provider and your IP address. We also record information about the software you are using to browse our website, such as the type of device and the screen resolution.

We use this information in aggregate to assess the popularity of the features in our app and how we perform in providing content to you.

If combined with other information we know about you from previous visits, the data possibly could be used to identify you personally, even if you are not signed into our app.

Please see our privacy policy for how we manage and use the personal data we collect
